I had plenty of minor electrical issues, rebuilt the carb with Rob, worked on fixing the brakes at least five different times until I realized it was the combination valve, had the hardest time finding a large vacuum leak on a temperature control valve on the air intake, and overall had tons of small issues that took plenty of troubleshooting.
I got to thinking recently of the vehicles I’ve owned over the years, and thought I’d create a page about them that I can keep updating from time to time as things change. Been doing some more work on the Elky. Took a bigger hit on taxes this year than I’d expected (by a lot), so I’m doing things in a much different order than I’d expected. Then I had the weekend of epic water leaks into the cab, so priorities changed again.
So I did a silly thing.
In the middle of winter, I sold my nice 4×4 Jeep Cherokee and bought a rear wheel drive, 42 year old, 3500 lb muscle car with street tires on it. It does not do snow well (though I can manage).
